What makes Hyundai Venue so popular? Top 5 reasons
The Hyundai Venue is one of the bestselling models in India, not only in its own segment, but also in the entire passenger vehicle market of the country. The SUV recently received a major design and feature overhaul. Hyundai has packaged the updated Venue with competitive pricing, a Level 2 ADAS suite, a premium interior, and diverse engine options. The SUV has raked in more than 80,000 bookings since November 2025, which testifies to the fact how popular the Hyundai Venue is in India.
Sedan sales hold steady despite boom in SUVs
Sedans may not command the market share they enjoyed a decade ago but they’re not altogether unpopular. They added 60 basis points to their share in 2025, taking it to 8.6% of the total passenger vehicle (PV) space. Buyers bought not just the popular Dzire but also the Honda Amaze. The Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Skoda Slavia and the Volkswagen Virtus are all also doing reasonably well.

Name on trial
The name ‘Versys’ is a portmanteau of ‘versatile’ and ‘system’, and looking at Kawasaki’s flagship crossover at first, that name felt optimistic. I mean, how versatile can a 257-kg motorcycle on long-travel suspension and 17-inch wheels really be? So instead of overthinking it, I did the obvious thing — I spent the next few days living with it.

Ferrari Luce EV interior revealed
Ferrari has shared fresh details of its first-ever electric car, confirming it will be called the Luce, which means ‘Light’ in Italian. It has also revealed the EV’s interior, which blends modern tech with retro influences. The cabin features a steering-column-mounted digital instrument cluster designed to move with the wheel, using layered OLED displays that mimic classic analogue dials. The steering wheel draws inspiration from older Ferraris, with physical buttons replacing touch controls. An aluminium trim runs across the dashboard, housing circular air vents and a floating centre screen that can be angled toward the occupants . Ferrari has integrated a mechanical clock with multiple display modes and a glass shift-by-wire selector. The Luce’s glass key introduces colour-changing E-Ink technology, adding another distinctive touch to Ferrari’s first electric model.
