2026 Isuzu V-Cross launched in India
Isuzu has launched the 2026 V-Cross in India with prices starting at ₹25.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The update brings minor design changes, feature additions and a revised variant lineup. The entry-level Z 4x2 AT has been discontinued, and all remaining variants have seen price increases, taking the range up to ₹30 lakh. Exterior updates include new dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels, body-coloured fog lamp surrounds and skid plate, black grille accents and updated LED indicators on the ORVMs. Inside, the V-Cross now gets a 10.3-inch floating touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360-degree camera and leatherette trim inserts. The pickup continues with the 1.9-litre diesel engine producing 161 bhp and 36.7 kg-m, paired with manual and automatic options, with 4x4 now standard.

SML Isuzu shares vroom 8% after company releases June sales numbers
Mumbai: SML Isuzu shares jumped 7.7 per cent in trade on Tuesday, logging an intraday high at ₹2,277.5 per share on BSE. At 12:36 PM, SML Isuzu share price was trading 6.68 per cent higher at ₹2,255 per share on the BSE. In comparison, the BSE Sensex was up 0.12 per cent at 83,710.23. The company's market capitalisation stood at ₹3,263.36 crore. Its 52-week high was at ₹2,300 per share and 52-week low was at ₹1,030.9 per share.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) has announced it will acquire a 58.96% stake in SML Isuzu Ltd (SML) for ₹555 crore. The acquisition will be made at a price of ₹650 per share. In addition, M&M will launch a mandatory open offer for up to 26% stake from public shareholders, in line with SEBI Takeover Regulations.

Isuzu Motors India (IMI) has become the country’s top exporter of commercial vehicles (CVs) for the financial year 2024-25, having shipped 20,312 units—a 24 per cent increase over the previous year’s total of 16,329 units, according to data from the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). This strong performance places IMI ahead of its peers in the segment and reinforces its role as a key contributor to India’s automotive exports, the company said in a media release.
