According to automobile experts, an uptick in sales was witnessed across vehicle categories, including entry-level passenger cars and two-wheelers.
Delhi Govt removes one-year limit on NOC applications for old vehicles

The decision, announced by Transport Minister Dr Pankaj Kumar Singh on Thursday, will enable owners of diesel vehicles older than 10 years and petrol vehicles older than 15 years to obtain NOCs for re-registration in other states, regardless of when their vehicle’s registration expired.

Suzuki Motor Corporation has reiterated its plan to invest ₹70,000 crore in India by FY2030. The investment will be focused on bringing new products into the Indian market and introducing new technologies across the segments. Also, Suzuki aims to cater to a wide range of customers in the country, from entry-level cars for first-time buyers to large SUVs and MPVs for the higher-income customers, said Toshihiro Suzuki, CEO of the global auto giant.
India has ‘multiple paths’ to carbon neutrality: Suzuki
Speaking to the Indian media on the sidelines of the Japan Mobility Show, Suzuki Motor Corporation (SMC) Chairman Toshihiro Suzuki laid out some of the challenges for Maruti-Suzuki, India’s largest carmaker. SMC is Maruti-Suzuki’s parent company. He laid out some ambitious targets for Maruti-Suzuki aiming to regain a 50 per cent marketshare in India which he admitted would be challenging but announced that Maruti-Suzuki will launch eight new SUVs in the Indian market in the next “five-six” years.

Exide Industries postpones board meeting to approve Q2 results due to I-T survey
New Delhi: Battery maker Exide Industries Ltd on Thursday said its board meeting to approve second quarter and half-yearly results has been postponed due to the Income Tax department survey at its offices and manufacturing units in India. In a regulatory filing, the Kolkata-based firm said, "The Income Tax department is conducting survey at the company's offices and manufacturing units in India since October 29, 2025." The proceedings are underway and the company is extending its full co-operation to the department, it added.
