Maruti Suzuki India Ltd on Wednesday said its board has approved the reappointment of Hisashi Takeuchi as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for a further period of three years with effect from April 1, 2025. The board in its meeting held on January 29, 2025 approved the appointment of Takeuchi as MD and CEO for a further period of three years till March 31, 2028, Maruti Suzuki India said in a regulatory filing.

TVS Motor Company on Tuesday reported a 1.48 per cent decline in its revenue from operations for the third quarter (Q3) of FY25 at Rs 11,134.63 crore from Rs 11,301.68 crore in the previous quarter (Q2 FY25).

New Delhi: Solar solutions provider Gensol Engineering on Wednesday said its arm Gensol Electric Vehicles has received orders to supply 30,000 e-vehicles.The company did not disclose the order value. 
KPIT upgrades Ebitda margin to 21%
KPIT Technologies reported a 20.4% year-on-year increase and a 7.2% sequential growth in net profit, totaling Rs 187 crore for the December quarter. The sequential profit increase excludes a one-time impact from the previous quarter. KPIT saw an 8.2% quarter-on-quarter decline in net profit during the third quarter, this was mainly due to receiving a Rs 45 crore exceptional income from an insurance claim during the second quarter of FY25. The company reported an EBITDA margin of 21.1% for the quarter. Additionally, KPIT maintained its revenue growth outlook at 18-22% and raised its EBITDA guidance for FY25 to over 21%, up from 20.5% guided earlier.
Online rubber trading platform mRube records sales worth ₹512 crore since June 2022
Kochi: mRube, the electronic trading platform for natural rubber, is getting overwhelming response from stakeholders by trading more than 33,980 tonnes in 2156 contracts worth ₹512 crore since it started operations in June 2022. A total of 2,418 members had so far on-boarded in e-market comprising Rubber Producer Societies, manufacturers from tyre and non-tyre sector, rubber dealers, processors and rubber estates. mRube is the first of its kind online market for any plantation crop in India wherein buyers and sellers could bid for spot trade. The response received from stakeholders in rubber sector has accentuated the growth of this market system in a short span of time, said Rubber Board officials. .
Exide Industries misses Q3 profit view on sluggish car sales
Indian battery maker Exide Industries reported third-quarter profit below analysts' estimates on Tuesday, hurt by sluggish vehicle sales. The company's standalone profit after tax rose 2% to 2.45 billion rupees (USD 28.3 million) in the October-December quarter, falling short of analysts' estimate of 3.09 billion rupees, according to data compiled by LSEG.
