Tata vs Tesla: Which EV maker has bigger charging hub in Mumbai?
The Tata Group has taken a big step towards cleaner mobility with the launch of its fast-charging EV hub, called TATA.ev MegaCharger facility in Mumbai. It has been jointly set up by Tata Power and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility. The facility was inaugurated on World EV Day on September 9 near Terminal 2 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. This comes a month after Elon Musk's Tesla launched its first charging facility at One BKC in the Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai. But which company has a bigger charging hub in the city -- Tata or Tesla?

GAIL eyes stock exchange listing of city gas distribution arm
New Delhi: India’s largest gas utility, GAIL, is exploring the listing of its city gas distribution (CGD) arm, GAIL Gas, which provides natural gas to roughly 6 per cent of India’s population and area-serving industries, mobility, and households. Last month, India’s largest gas utility floated a tender for hiring a consultant to study the listing of GAIL Gas on Indian stock exchanges.

Vikram Solar secures 336 MW module supply order from L&T
New Delhi: Solar PV manufacturer Vikram Solar announced on Monday a major order win of 336 megawatt (MW) high-efficiency solar modules from L&T Construction. The modules will be deployed in Khavda, Gujarat, a region where the company has already made significant contributions. As part of this order, Vikram Solar will supply its advanced Hypersol G12R modules, based on N-type technology. This latest module from Vikram Solar showcases improved bifaciality (up to 80 per cent), better high-temperature performance and minimal year-on-year degradation (≤0.4 per cent), Vikram Solar said. The usage of G12R modules will enhance the Balance-of-System (BOS) efficiency and help drive down the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), making it more cost-effective and accessible, it added.
ASME brings IMECE to India for the first time; Hyderabad to host Sept 10–13
