May petrol sales in fast lane as summer travel peaks, diesel & ATF go off the boil, LPG on fire

BHEL Q4 Results: Profit rises by 3.03% to Rs 504.45 crore, misses estimates; dividend announced
Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) on Friday released its fiscal fourth quarter earnings with profit at Rs 504.45 crore, missing estimates. This was 3.03 per cent higher in comparison to Rs 489.62 crore recorded during the corresponding quarter of FY24. It posted revenue from operations at Rs 8993.37 crore, up 8.88 per cent as against Rs 8260.25 crore reported during the fourth quarter of previous financial year. The company EBITDA stood at Rs 831 crore.

ReNew to set up ₹22,000 crore hybrid renewable energy project in Andhra Pradesh
With a generation capacity of around 2.8 GW, including 1.8 GWp solar and 1 GW wind, and a battery energy storage system (BESS) of 2 GWh, this will be one of the largest RE complexes at a single location in India, according to the company. Tata Power Ltd’s consolidated Ebitda for the March quarter (Q4FY25), excluding other income, rose nearly 40% year-on-year to ₹3,250 crore, driven by higher margins from its newly commissioned solar cell manufacturing facility and improved billing efficiency in Odisha discoms.
