BPCL to re-start Mozambique LNG project by July
State-owned Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) expects to resume operations with resolution of the force majeure in its long-delayed Mozambique LNG project by July 2025, the company’s director finance, V.R.K. Gupta said on Friday. The development comes as the Indian oil and gas companies plan to expand their upstream expansion amid growing energy demand.

Rupee surges: Breaches 84/$, wipes out all losses since Trump’s election win

S&P cuts India’s FY26 GDP growth forecast to 6.3%
S&P Global Ratings on Friday cut India’s growth projections from 6.5% to 6.3% for 2025-26 citing uncertainty over the US tariff policy and downside risks from its spillover to the economy.
