Rajasthan hikes royalties on minor minerals by up to 30% after 4 years
The state government has increased the royalties on minor minerals by 10–30 per cent per tonne. These rates have been revised after four years, an official from the Mining Department said. “Before this, royalties on minor minerals were increased in 2021,” he added.

Govt to finalise 27% ethanol blending norms by August: Nitin Gadkari
New Delhi: The Indian government will introduce guidelines for 27 per cent ethanol blending in petrol by the end of August, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced on Thursday.

New Delhi: Based on the findings of the Transport and Environment departments on how a ban on end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) would affect the general public and all stakeholders, the Delhi government may move a review petition before the Supreme Court seeking a recall of the order that does not allow diesel vehicles older than 10 years and petrol vehicles older than 15 years to ply in the National Capital Region (NCR), Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa has said.
