JSW Steel output grows 14% to 7.26 MnT in Q1
However, on a quarter-on-quarter (q-o-q) basis, the production was lower by 5 per cent compared to 7.63 MnT during January-March or last quarter of FY25, primarily due to planned maintenance shutdowns of blast furnaces, JSW Steel said in a filing.

The proposed 50 per cent import tariff on copper announced by US President Donald Trump will not have any impact on Indian companies as the country is copper-deficient, according to an industry official.

Govt unveils more safeguards for investors in oil & gas sector
The ministry of petroleum and natural gas has introduced of an investor-friendly stabilisation clause in its recent draft Petroleum & Natural Gas Rules, 2025, under which holders of exploration and production rights will be be protected from adverse impacts of future legal or fiscal changes, such as increases in taxes, royalties or other levies, via compensation or deductions.
