Birla Estates records 100% growth with ₹8,000 crore bookings in FY25
The shares of Aditya Birla Real Estate Limited were trading at ₹1,896, up by ₹38.80 or 2.09 per cent on the NSE today at 1.20 pm. Birla Estates Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aditya Birla Real Estate Limited, has achieved its highest-ever annual booking value of ₹8,000 crore for the fiscal year 2025, marking over 100 per cent growth compared to FY24, according to a press release issued on April 15.

Centre drops Rs 8,900 crore proposal for J&K tunnel projects
The proposal to build two tunnels, Singhpora-Vailoo and Sudhmahadev-Dranga — on the Anantnag-Chenani corridor in Jammu-Kashmir has halted. Multiple reasons were presented by the expenditure secretary-headed Public Investment Board (PIB) after turning down the recommendation for this construction. There was an estimated cost of nearly Rs 9,000 crore of building both the tunnels.

Railway sector to post revenue growth of 5% in FY26 on strong demand for wagon manufacturers, says ICRA
The Indian railway sector is expected to post revenue growth of 5 per cent in FY26, an analysis report by ICRA stated, while maintaining a stable outlook for the sector. This growth, it added, will be primarily driven by strong demand for wagon manufacturers, while construction-focused segments are expected to witness moderate expansion. The sector’s operating margins are likely to remain healthy at approximately 12 per cent, supported by operating leverage benefits and stable input costs.
