Tiago to Safari: Tata cars in India set to be costlier from this date
The automaker has not revealed the reason behind the decision to hike the prices of its passenger vehicles and electric cars. However, car manufacturers usually increase the pricing of their respective models in India every year owing to rising inflation, increased raw material costs, higher production costs etc. In 2023 alone, various automakers have increased the pricing of their cars multiple times owing to the abovementioned reasons.

The company has opened the bookings for both the Tiago iCNG AMT and Tigor iCNG AMT at Rs 21,000. The customer can book the CNG vehicle at the nearest Tata Motors dealership or on the official website.

AMT gearbox launched in Tata Tiago CNG, Tigor CNG— prices starting at Rs 7.90 lakh
Tata Motors has made the early bird move by launching the option of an AMT gearbox in Tiago iCNG and Tigor iCNG. This makes it the first carmaker in India to offer an automatic gearbox option for CNG powertrain. Prices for Tiago CNG with an AMT gearbox start at Rs 7.90 lakh, whereas for Tiago CNG with AMT start from Rs 8.85 lakh (both ex-showroom).
