Skoda Kushaq, Slavia discounts in May hit Rs 2.5 lakh

Skoda is offering massive discounts and benefits during this month on the Kushaq midsize SUV and Slavia sedan. These include a cash discount, complementary 3-year/45,000km maintenance package and extended warranty (5 years or 1.25 lakh km), whichever is earlier. The CBU-only Superb sedan and the Kodiaq seven-seater SUV are not available with any official benefits.
Skoda makes its Slavia and Kushaq safer than before
Skoda India’s commitment to safety became clear when both of its India-focussed products fared impressively well in Global NCAP’s crash tests, scoring full five stars. With the latest update, Skoda has now made six airbags available across the Slavia and Kushaq model range, ensuring that regardless of the model one chooses, they’ll get class-leading safety. Mechanically, the cars remain unchanged.
Skoda Kushaq, Slavia now equipped with 6 airbags as standard
Skoda has announced that it will now offer 6 airbags as standard across the lineups of both Kushaq and Slavia. Both these models are locally manufactured by the Czech brand in India out of its facility in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Interestingly, both these models have already been crash tested by Global NCAP and have earned a perfect 5-star safety rating.
Skoda makes Kushaq and Slavia safer with MY24 updates
New Delhi: Kushaq SUV in October 2022 and the Slavia sedan in April 2023, Skoda Auto India continues to bring safety as its key component with introduction of six airbags as standard across all variants of the Kushaq and Slavia. The introduction is part of the company's MY24 updates for its India 2.0 product portfolio.

Skoda has updated both the Slavia and the Kushaq with six airbags as standard across the range. This, expectedly, is accompanied by a slight increase in prices, with the Kushaq now ranging between Rs 11.99 lakh-19.79 lakh, while the Slavia is priced from Rs 11.63 lakh-18.83 lakh, all prices, ex-showroom, India.

The Skoda Kushaq and Slavia, which have been on sale for 2.5 years and 2 years, respectively, are a part of the Czech brand’s India 2.0 startegy and are set to get a number of updates until facelifts for the midsize sedan and SUV arrive. Speaking to Autocar India, Skoda brand director Petr Janeba said admitted that the company has some catching up to do in terms of features, and that the issue will be addressed.

Skoda has showcased a special Kushaq Explorer Edition, alongside announcing its plans for an all-new compact SUV. The Kushaq Explorer Edition comes with unique outdoorsy cosmetic elements and more equipment on the interior, and is based on the top-spec Style trim. However, there’s no word about it being introduced in the market yet.

Skoda Auto India has launched a special edition of the Kushaq SUV and Slavia sedan, priced from Rs 18.31 lakh and Rs 17.52 lakh, respectively. Called the Elegance Edition, these limited-run models will sport a new Deep Black exterior colour and more equipment than the respective top-spec Style variants.

Skoda has introduced a new Matte Black edition of the Slavia sedan, and has also revised the base price of both Slavia and Kushaq to now start at Rs 10.89 lakh. That makes the base Slavia Rs 50,000 cheaper, and the base Kushaq Rs 70,000 cheaper, although both prices are limited just for the festive season. The Slavia Matte Black edition will also only be available for the festive season.
