MG Motor India recently announced a price cut on its entire model range on the occasion of its centenary year. However, the brand had only revealed the starting price of each model at the time. Not long after spy shots of the Baojun Yep Plus SUV emerged, the Chinese brand has revealed the new 5-door EV in full. Based on the same platform as the MG Comet EV, which is currently available in India, the Yep Plus will go on sale in China by March 2024, joining the smaller 3-door Yep.

Chinese automaker Baojun has unveiled a new electric SUV named Yep Plus. It is an extension of the 3-door Yep launched last year. For the uninitiated, Baojun is a subsidiary of state-owned SAIC Motor, the parent company of MG Motor. In fact, Yep and Yep Plus are based on the same platform as the MG Comet EV, otherwise known as Wuling Air in China.
