Kia unveils futuristic 2025 Carnival Hybrid: All you need to know
Kia has officially introduced the 2025 Carnival Hybrid, showcasing a blend of cutting-edge technology and enhanced performance. Following the successful debut of the new-generation Carnival in global markets last year, Kia has now unveiled its Carnival HEV variant. While its arrival in the Indian market remains uncertain, expectations are high for Kia to launch the new Carnival generation soon, reported HT Auto.

The facelifted fourth-gen Kia Carnival made its global debut in October 2023 in South Korea. Spy shots of the model being tested across various countries, including India, have surfaced on the internet. Now, the Korean carmaker has unveiled its flagship MPV in the USA at the recently held Chicago Auto Show.

While Kia has had the fourth-gen Carnival on sale in international markets for some time now, in India, the brand had continued with the previous-gen model until it silently removed the MPV from its website recently. The Korean company had showcased this new model as the Kia KA4 at the 2023 Auto Expo, but the most recent spy shots confirm that India will be getting the facelift that was first revealed in October this year.

The 2024 Kia Carnival made its global debut a couple months ago. Although Kia introduced the fourth-gen model of the luxury MPV in international markets back in 2020, in India, the Korean brand continued with the third-gen model until recently when it was silently discontinued from the market.

Kia EV9 electric SUV was earlier showcased in India in a concept form during the Auto Expo held in January. It was later launched in some of the global markets, including Kia's home base South Korea. Kia had earlier said that it would launch the EV9 in India by 2025. The carmaker had said that it plans to launch three new models in the next three years, including two new electric vehicles.

 The interior of the new Carnival will not be as heavily updated as its exterior, which reflects the new design language of the carmaker. The cabin gets a dual-tone treatment and will be offered with three seating configurations. Among the other changes, Kia has redesigned the centre console which now ditches most of the physical buttons. The dashboard is now dominated by a dual-screen setup, which is already seen in models like Seltos and Carens. The screens, measuring 12.3-inch each, double up as touchscreen infotainment system and digital driver display.

A few days after revealing the exterior design of the facelifted Carnival, Kia has officially revealed details of the MPV. The facelifted model of the fourth-gen Carnival was spied testing earlier this year and has finally been unveiled. Bookings are open in Korea for the MPV.
