Citroen on completing its 3 years journey in India has announced special offers on their selective car models which include the C3  hatchback which will be available for Rs. 5.99 lakhs whereas the C3 Aircross at Rs. 8.99 lacs. These offers will be only valid till 30 April 2024.

Global NCAP has crash tested the Citroen eC3 electric hatchback, and it has received a rather disappointing 0-star rating in adult occupant protection and a 1-star rating for child occupant protection. The car tested was an Indian-made model, and is among the last few cars to be tested under Global NCAP's Safer Cars for India campaign as India now has its own Bharat NCAP safety assessment programme.

Citroen has announced that it will offer six airbags as standard on all its model from the second half of 2024. Currently, apart from the C5 Aircross which is the brand’s flagship model, all other models only come equipped with just two airbags even in their top-spec guise.

Citroen has finally added a new top-spec variant to its eC3 line-up. The eC3 is essentially an all-electric iteration of the C3 hatchback and is currently the most popular of all Citroen models sold in India. The new eC3 Shine variant is priced from Rs 13.20 lakh-13.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The eC3 faces stiff competition from the Tata Tiago EV, which is also positioned at a similar price point.
