Atul Auto Q4 results: Net profit rises to ₹4.8 crore, revenue at ₹160.14 crore
Three wheeler company Atul Auto, on Friday, announced its financial results for the quarter ended on March 31, 2024 (Q4 FY24). The company reported 46 per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise its net profit to ₹4.8 crore for the March quarter, versus ₹3.3 crore same period a year ago.

Bajaj takes the DGR from 10 cities to 32
Thanks to the Bajaj-Triumph tie-up, the latter's Distinguished Gentleman's Ride — to raise funds for prostate cancer research and men's health — has gone pan-India. Till a couple of years ago, the DGR was held in about 10 cities — the 10-odd dealerships of Triumph India — but this year (on May 19) it will be held in more than 32 cities. Sumeet Narang, president, Pro-biking, Bajaj Auto, told FE that the expected participation this year will be 2,500 riders from 32-plus cities. "It's far more than previous years," he said. "With the launch of Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X, we have added new dealerships, and they drive events such as the DGR."

Two-wheelers sales continue uptrend in April but passenger vehicles muted; SIAM pins hope on election and monsoon
The latest data from SIAM indicates that auto sales may have hit a slower patch in April, especially passenger vehicles. According to SIAM, 3,35,629 PVs were sold in April. This is barely 1% more than 3,31,278 vehicles sold last April. The April PV sales is also slightly lower than the 3,68,086 units sold in March this year. The two-wheeler sales of course remained buoyant in sync with the overall recovery seen in the segment.
