Celebrating 50 years of the BMW 3 Series
Every generation of the BMW 3 Series tells a chapter of the sports sedan story. Usually, you’d have to walk through BMW’s museum in Munich to see them all together. But to mark 50 years of the 3 Series, Autocar India and BMW India gathered all seven generations at Infinity BMW in Worli, Mumbai. Owners, fans and enthusiasts turned up to celebrate, admire these icons up close and take part in activities through the evening.

BMW 3 Series LWB 50 Jahre Edition launched at Rs 64 lakh
BMW India has launched new special editions of the 3 Series Long Wheelbase and the sportier M340i on the occasion of the 3 Series completing 50 years globally. Called the ‘50 Jahre Edition’, the special edition BMW 330Li M Sport is priced at Rs 64 lakh and the M340i 50 Jahre Edition at Rs 76.90 lakh, both ex-showroom, India. Both models are limited to just 50 units each.  

Komaki Electric launches X3 Series at Rs 53,000
Komaki Electric Vehicles has launched its new X3 series of electric scooters designed for urban mobility, specifically targeting women riders. The scooters are priced starting at Rs 52,999, with features like a high-capacity lithium-ion battery, a digital dashboard, and multiple riding modes.

BMW India very recently introduced its new BMW 3 Series Long Wheelbase (LWB) in India starting at ₹62.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The BMW 3 Series LWB, also known as the BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine, will be produced locally at the BMW Group Plant in Chennai. The German car maker will be initially only offering the petrol variant, the BMW 330Li M Sport and the diesel engine option for the limousine will follow production shortly after. New BMW 3 series long wheelbase launched at Rs 62.6 lakh
The new BMW 3 Series Long Wheelbase launched in India on Friday. Locally produced at BMW Group Plant Chennai, the car is available in the petrol variant at all BMW India dealerships. The diesel variant will be launched later.
