ONGC expects Mumbai High oil recovery to begin from January
State-run Oil and Natural Gas Corp expects recovery in its oil production from the Mumbai High field, where it partners with British oil major BP, to start from January. The company on Tuesday said that under the tie-up, ONGC is likely to see “green shoots” of improvement from January onwards with major production gains anticipated in FY29–FY30.

Tata Power posts 14% rise in Q2 profit
The revenues from operations declined by one per cent during the quarter at ₹15,545 crore, from ₹15,698 crore a year earlier. The company stated that power supply from Mundra plant was temporarily suspended from July 3 for undertaking overhauling activities, aimed at resolving existing technical issues. The company also said that it is currently in discussions with procurers for execution of a Supplementary Power Purchase Agreement (SPPA), and the impact, if any, will be considered once it is finalised.

Tata Power misses estimates; profit down marginally
Tata Power on Tuesday posted a marginal drop of 0.8% in its net profit for the second quarter ended September at Rs 919 crore compared with Rs 927 crore in Q2FY25. Analyst estimates had pegged the profit at Rs 937 crore. Sequentially, the profit was down 13%.
BluPine Energy to raise $500-750 million in 12-18 months
New Delhi: BluPine Energy plans to raise $500-750 million, or around ₹4,500-6,500 crore in the next 12-18 months, which will help the company fund part of its more than 3 gigawatt (GW) of contracted capacity under development. The renewable power producer is advancing towards its 4 GW goal by end-2027, which is dominated by solar, followed by wind. Currently, it has over 1.1 GW of operational assets.
