JSW Steel output grows 9% to 25 LT in October
New Delhi: JSW Steel on Monday posted a 9 per cent year on year rise in consolidated output in October to 24.95 lakh tonnes, led by India operations. It had produced 22.81 lakh tonnes (LT) steel in October 2024, the company said in an exchange filing. "The total crude steel production was higher by 9 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y)," JSW Steel said.
Engineering exporters request govt to include steel products in BTA talks with US
Engineering Export Promotion Council India on behalf of engineering exporters has written to the government requesting to include various steel and aluminum products manufactured especially by micro, medium and small enterprises (MSME) in the ongoing negotiations with the US for a bilateral trade agreement (BTA).

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Gas Ltd (GGL), one of the largest City Gas Distribution companies in the country reported a 9.4 per cent year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit that stood at ₹280 crore for the second quarter of the current financial year 2025-26. The company, a state PSU, that primarily operates in the segment of natural gas business recorded less than 1 per cent growth in its revenues for the quarter which stood at ₹3979 crore from ₹3949 crore a year earlier.
