The prices of residential properties in some of the leading micromarkets of the country is down up to nearly 50% even as the cities they are a part of are seeing a healthy appreciation. 
Puravankara Ltd arm bags ₹211.53 cr contract from SBR Builders
New Delhi: Realty firm Puravankara Ltd's subsidiary has bagged a ₹211.53 crore contract from SBR Builders for construction work in an upcoming residential project. In a regulatory filing on Friday, the company informed that its subsidiary Starworth Infrastructure & Construction Ltd has received a letter of award for the "construction of core and shell with finishes works for the proposed residential project 'SBR Global Queen's Ville' for SBR Builders."
India’s prime office rents rise 4.3% in July-September; Bengaluru leads growth: Knight Frank
India’s three major office markets, Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR and Mumbai, have seen an average 4.3% annual growth in rentals of prime workspaces during the July-September period, according to Knight Frank. Real estate consultant Knight Frank mentioned in its latest report that the office space leasing in Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR and Mumbai together is expected to touch 50 million sq ft in the 2025 calendar year, surpassing the previous record of 41 million sq ft set in 2024.
Karnataka issues new guidelines for design approvals of layouts on converted lands
Bengaluru: The Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj in Karnataka issued directions on the procedures to be followed for granting design approval for layouts developed on converted lands situated within gram panchayat limits but outside local planning areas. According to a statement, under Section 199(B) of the Karnataka Gram Swaraj and Panchayat Raj (Amendment) Act, 2025, the concerned authority—either the Gram Panchayat or any authority notified by the government—must obtain prior approval of the layout plan from the competent planning authority having jurisdiction.
