Megha Engineering wind contract to develop $225.5 mn gas-sweetening plant in Kuwait
New Delhi: Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Ltd has secured a $225.5 million project from Kuwait Oil Company to develop a gas sweetening and sulphur recovery facility in the West Kuwait's oilfields.
Ganesh Infraworld to begin work on two water and sewage treatment projects in J&K from December: MD
New Delhi: Infrastructure company Ganesh Infraworld will begin work on two water and sewerage treatment projects worth ₹105.77 crore in Jammu & Kashmir from December 2025, its Managing Director Vibhoar Agrawal said. The projects form part of the government’s larger effort to modernise water management and sewage infrastructure in the Union Territory, particularly in the Srinagar–Budgam region, which has witnessed rapid urban expansion and rising pollution levels in local water bodies.

Sobha Q2 FY26 PAT surges 178% to ₹73 cr on strong sales
Bengaluru: Bengaluru-based real estate major Sobha Ltd recorded a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹73 crore, up by 178 per cent. The revenue grew 52 per cent y-o-y to ₹1,469 crore. Jagadish Nangineni, Managing Director, Sobha Limited, said that the company has completed 2.25 mn sq ft (1185 homes) in the first half of the year. “Improved profitability would reflect as we increase the volume of deliveries in higher margin projects. With a clear pipeline of 16.69 mn sq ft of future launches in the next six quarters, a strong balance sheet and a stable demand environment, we are well-positioned for growth and to capitalise on potential opportunities,” he said.

Sequential price weakness halves Dalmia Bharat's Q2 profit despite strong annual growth
Puneet Dalmia-promoted Dalmia Bharat Ltd saw a 39% sequential dip in the company's profitability to ₹239 crore, although it was 387% higher than the year-ago period, as India’s fourth-largest cement maker experienced lower prices in the July-September period.

New Delhi: Cement maker Dalmia Bharat on Friday reported a multi-fold increase in consolidated net profit at ₹239 crore for the second quarter ended September 2025, helped by improved sales realisation, reduction in expenses etc. The company had posted a net profit of ₹49 crore in the July-September quarter a year ago, according to a regulatory filing from Dalmia Bharat.
