Prestige Estates makes room for a better FY26 as approval delays ease
Prestige Estates Projects Ltd put up a decent show in the March quarter (Q4FY25) with pre-sales or bookings at ₹6,957 crore, up 48% year-on-year. Last quarter, it launched 14.03 million square feet (msf) spanning four projects: Prestige Suncrest and Prestige Southern Star-Ph 1 in Bengaluru, Prestige Nautilus in Mumbai, and Prestige Spring Heights in Hyderabad.
Mitsubishi, Sumitomo to invest in 1.5 million sq ft Mumbai office project
Japanese companies Mitsubishi Estate and Sumitomo Corporation are set to invest in a 1.5 million sq ft premium office project in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai. The project has a gross development value of nearly Rs 8500 crore or $ 1billion, sources said.
Housing sales in tier 2 cities drop 8% in Q1 2025, but value rises 6%: Report
Housing sales in India’s top 15 tier 2 cities dropped by 8% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2025, according to a report by real estate data analytics firm PropEquity. A total of 43,781 units were sold in Q1 2025 compared to 47,378 units in Q1 2024. However, despite the dip in volume, sales value rose by 6%, touching Rs 40,443 crore, up from Rs 38,102 crore a year earlier.
