TVS Motor had a bumper Q2. Can Norton lift it higher?
TVS Motor Co. Ltd’s standalone Ebitda rose as much as 40% year-on-year to ₹1,500 crore in the September quarter (Q2FY26), driven by higher volumes and improved realization. Sales volume increased by an impressive 23% to 1.51 million units thanks to improved retail financing with lower interest rates, GST cuts, and other factors, higher than 17% growth recorded in Q1. Average realization stood at ₹79,000 per vehicle, up 5%, helped by the price hikes undertaken at the start of Q2 to offset the increase in raw material costs.

CNG-powered Suzuki Access showcased at Japan Mobility Show
Suzuki Motor Corporation has showcased a range of alternative-fuel technologies at the Tokyo Motor Show, underlining that the road to a carbon-neutral future cannot rely on a single propulsion system. At the ongoing Japan Mobility Show 2025, Maruti Suzuki's parent company has a Fronx FFV concept on display, which is powered by an engine that can run E85 petrol; fuel that has up to 85 percent ethanol content. The final production Maruti Fronx flex fuel is scheduled to arrive in India sometime next year.
Honda Super-ONE near production compact EV revealed
Along with the India-bound 0 α SUV, Honda has also revealed a near-production compact EV called the Super-One at the ongoing Japan Mobility Show 2025. The production model is scheduled to go on sale in its home market and select countries in Asia and Oceania as the Honda Super-One, though its name for the UK market will be Super-N.
