Luxury economics: Why Rolls-Royce cars continue to defy price logic
Rolls-Royce cars have been considered the epitome of luxury automobiles. The package of century-old brand reputation, sheer luxury, performance, bespoke design and feature elements, craftsmanship, and extreme exclusivity altogether come blended in a package that costs a fortune. While automobile brands like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, and Volvo have been losing their exclusivity, as the number of owners for these cars has been increasing rapidly, Rolls-Royce is among the few carmakers that continue to maintain their exclusivity. The Rolls-Royce cars still make more of a statement of status and a work of art on wheels than a conventional passenger vehicle or a luxury car.

Charging in progress: India’s battle to build a reliable electric vehicle charging network rages on
In 2014-15, electric vehicles (EVs) were little more than a statistical curiosity in India. Just 0.01% of all registered vehicles that year were electric. A decade later, the picture has shifted dramatically. In 2024-25, EVs accounted for 7.31% of new registrations, a surge that has caught policymakers, automakers and infrastructure companies scrambling to catch up. The electric revolution is no longer a distant promise, but unfolding in real time on India’s roads. But a fundamental question looms—where will all these vehicles charge?

2025 Mahindra Thar Roxx long term review, 16,000km report
When the Mahindra Thar Roxx joined our long-term fleet, we already knew it would be brilliant off-road. However, I was keen to see if it could handle mundane chores too.
