Titan, Kalyan Jewellers' Q4 business updates point to bright prospects
Titan said revenues grew 17 per cent on the back of 19 per cent growth in domestic jewellery with 7 per cent growth in Helios (Watches & Wearables or W&W) and the international portfolio, although eye care revenues declined 1 per cent on a year on year (Y-o-Y) basis. Titan also said emerging business grew 24 per cent with 37 per cent growth in Taneira and 12 per cent in Fashion & Fragrances. CaratLane grew 30 per cent Y-o-Y.

ACME Group partners with Hydrogenious for large-scale hydrogen supply chain study
New Delhi: ACME Group on Monday said that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Germany’s Hydrogenious LOHC Technologies to collaborate on a feasibility study to explore joint development of large-scale hydrogen supply chains. The supply chains, from ACME’s projects in Oman to supply hubs in Europe, will utilise the Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carriers (LOHC) technology. Both parties also intend to extend the partnership to evaluate the hydrogen value chain from the US to Europe.
India's fuel demand hits new FY record, up about 5%
India's fuel consumption fell 0.6% year-on-year in March, but demand for the 2024 financial year was up about 5%, primarily driven by higher automotive fuel and naphtha sales.

NTPC aims to add 5 GW capacity in FY25
State-run NTPC Ltd, the country’s largest integrated power utility, aims to add 5 gigawatt (GW) of installed capacity in the financial year 2024-25, the company said on Monday. Of this, the company plans to install 3 GW of renewable energy capacity and remaining 2 GW of thermal power capacity. By 2032, the company plans to have a cumulative installed capacity of 130 GW.
